Launde Abbey Days

Launde Abbey www.launde.org.uk
is an attractive Tudor
house set in 450 acres of parkland near Oakham. It is the Retreat House
and Conference Centre of the dioceses of Leicester and Peterborough.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Launde is an ideal location
for service users to get away from it all. Its "country house"
feel is welcoming and non-threatening for people of all faiths and none. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We currently aim to arrange
three Launde Abbey Days a year. Each of these attracts between fifteen and
twenty participants. The Summer Day normally lasts from 10.00am to 7.00pm
and includes both a lunchtime and evening meal, whilst the Spring and
Autumn Days end at 4.30pm. |

Launde Abbey Days usually

(open to all faiths)

Discussion group

Meals |

These days continue to be
very popular with both established and new service users. The latter find
them an excellent forum for exploring what our service has to offer,
meeting other service users and making new friends. |
