Bereavement Care, Funerals and Memorials.

The death of a loved one is a traumatic experience. Our chaplaincy
team are all trained and experienced in providing support to the
recently bereaved and are particularly sensitive to the issues that can arise regarding an HIV-related death.

If you would like someone to talk to, we can arrange for one of the team to meet with you.

If a loved one has recently died of an HIV-related illness, a member of our Chaplaincy Team will help you in the planning of a suitable funeral or memorial service (religious or non-religious) that sensitively reflects the life of the deceased and meets the needs of those who are grieving.

The Chaplain will also conduct the service if you wish.

We also work closely with Leicestershire AIDS Support Services (LASS) in helping people to make special purses to be placed on the LASS Memorial Panels at the Annual Candlelight Gathering for World AIDS Day.   Please contact us for more information.
