What is "faith in people with HIV" ? |
||||||
| We
are a registered charity offering pastoral and spiritual support to people
affected by HIV in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. |
||||||
|
We work with people of all religious faiths and with those who have no religious beliefs. |
||||||
| We understand the term "spiritual" to mean the wider aspects of emotional and physical well being. | ||||||
| The project is managed by the Bishop of Leicester's Chaplain for people affected by HIV. | ||||||
| The service is open to anyone who is living with HIV or affected by it (e.g. partner, family, carer) irrespective of background, culture, beliefs, ethnicity, sexuality, age or disability. | ||||||
| Our service is confidential and we respect the rights of people affected by HIV at all times. | ||||||
| We also help raise the awareness of HIV in faith communities and other groups. We seek to foster understanding and to break down barriers of stigma and discrimination. | ![]() |
